Operation Oak is our investigation into reports made by a number of women of sexual abuse committed against them as children between 1985 and 1996.
The men, aged 54 to 73, are all British citizens and are bailed to appear before Newport Magistrates’ Court on Friday 24 July.
The man received first aid at the scene and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Officers investigating the robbery would like to speak to anyone travelling on the Southern Distributor Road, close to Nash Road, between 4pm and 4.30pm who might be able to assist our enquiries.
A 31-year-old Cwmcarn man was arrested on suspicion of a section 18 assault and he remains in custody as enquiries continue.
