We anticipate that after 31 March 2022 those currently in training will be transferred to the Local Policing Areas.
The 79.00 FTE that will be recruited for 2022/23 will start in training and will need to successfully complete their training before being transferred out to the Local Policing Areas.
Those currently in Local Policing Areas will either stay in the LPA or may decide to transfer to a different area in the force.
Measure
The only measure we are able to supply an answer for is the sickness measure, please see the figures below.
Sickness (Average days per FTE officer);
2019/20 was 4.9%. Looking at the years since 2019/20 and taking into account COVID and lockdowns we anticipate the performance for 2022/23 to be approximately 4.5%.
