This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act, and I seek information on the level of training provided to assessors for promotions within your police force.
Please state:
This is Chief Inspector rank and above and HR Staff – The number could be a pool of up to 50 different people at any one time. This is due to a number of circumstances such as staff absence, promotions, secondments, leavers and people in training.
We do not have any ethnic minority officers above Inspector at present, but we do have some diversity in our HR Staff
All would have received a half day training, but many would have received further training from the college of policing
Same as question 1.
This is Supt rank and above and HR Staff. The number could be a pool of up to 20 different people at any one time. This is due to a number of circumstances such as staff absence, promotions, secondments, leavers and people in training.
White
All had mandatory 4 hours training but also various other training from College of Policing

We would utilise our Chief Officers and external panel members
Unknown as independent members used from the college of policing
