We’ve charged a fifth person connected to an investigation into a suspected crime group operating across Gwent.
Detectives arrested a 28-year-old man from Cardiff on suspicion of two counts of conspiring to supply class A drugs and supplying class B drugs.
He was later charged with these offences and appeared at Newport Magistrates Court this morning.
This follows a series of warrants officers carried out during the early hours of Tuesday 24 September, where they arrested several people suspected to have been involved in conspiring to supply drugs.
Two men, aged 25 and 21, were subsequently charged with conspiring to supply class A and B drugs along with a third man, 20, who was also charged with possession of a class B drug.
A woman, 28, was charged with possessing criminal property and conspiring to supply a class A drug.
