2021/24365 - Airwave policy and or procedure

REQUEST

I request a copy of your force's policy and/or procedure on the use of the Airwave digital radio network . I would like to receive this in a format accessible to a screenreader (e.g. not a scanned PDF).

I am happy for you — and would, in fact, encourage you — to make whatever redactions you require in the interests of operational or commercial sensitivity. I would ask that you consider redactions to whatever extent they are necessary, as opposed to withholding the policy and/or procedure entirely.

Follow up

I write in relation to my request under the Freedom of Information Act dated 1 August 2021, in which I ask for information of your force's Airwave policy and/or procedure.

Having viewed your response, I struggle to believe that your force has no written documentation for staff to refer to with regards to the use of the Airwave radio network.

If you would please assist me by sharing a list of documentation provided to frontline officers on the use of the Airwave radio network, in accordance with your Section 16 duty, I would be most obliged.
