REQUEST

Please can you answer the below questions for the following time periods: 2018 (calendar year), 2019 (calendar year), 2020 (calendar year) and 2021 (1 Jan to 31 Sep):

1) How many reports of impersonation of a police officer did your police force record over the requested period? 

1a) How many subsequent arrests were made for the offence of impersonating a police officer (please include any other crimes they were arrested for at the same time for (for example, someone could have been arrested for suspicion of kidnap and of impersonating a police officer) 

1b) Please tell me the age and gender of the victim(s) and the person who pretended to be a police officer.

2) How many individuals were charged with the offence of impersonating a police officer over the requested period?

3) How many individuals alleged to have impersonated a police officer were released after questioning as your force decided 'no further action' should be taken in light of the (lack of) evidence?

Clarification

For Q1, by 'reports' I mean incidents (a record of contact made to a police force by an individual/member of the public (usually via a 999 or 101 call).

But can you also, separately, please tell me the number of crimes of impersonation of a police officer that were recorded in the specified periods?

For Q3, I am asking for the crimes which have the outcome of 'no further action'.
