REQUEST

I am making this request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I am attempting to find which police forces have had the most “road rage” related driving offences in the UK.

My questions are as follows:

For the calendar years 2019, 2020 and 2021 – could you please respond with:

The number of reported crimes which mentioned “road rage” in the MO field of the crime report and the detailed crime type.

The number of road traffic accidents recorded with a contributing factor of “aggressive driving” (code 601)

The number of reported crimes which mentioned “road rage” in the MO field of the crime report and the detailed crime type.

The table below shows the number of reported offences for each year where the term “road rage” was included within the crime summary, broken down by offence title.

The number of road traffic accidents recorded with a contributing factor of “aggressive driving” (code 601)

The below table shows the number of incidents (from the STORM incident system) where the term “aggressive driving” was found within the remarks.
