Could you please provide a month-by-month breakdown of the amount of drug and alcohol related offences in the different local authorities please?

What were the number of drug and alcohol related offences committed in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022?

Please find attached excel spreadsheet which shows the number of recorded offences for each month by local authority, in which alcohol or drugs were identified as a factor in the offence. The figures for March 2022 are correct as of 25/03/2022.

What steps are the Gwent Police taking to tackle drug related crimes in rural community areas and small villages?

Information is defined in section 84 of the Act as "information recorded in any form". 

The Act, therefore, only extends to requests for recorded information.  It does not require public authorities to answer questions generally; only if they already hold the answers in recorded form.

The Act does not extend to requests for information about policies or their implementation, or the merits or demerits of any proposal or action-unless, of course, the answer to any such request is already held in recorded form"(Day vs ICO &DWP-ea/2006/0069 Final Decision)
