2022/24859 - Shed Break-ins

REQUEST

We’re currently working on research into theft from sheds in the UK and were hoping to access some police information.

We’d like to know any 2021 (or nearest up-to-date data) on the number of thefts from sheds and outbuildings in the UK, value of possessions stolen and, most importantly, the most valuable items stolen from sheds.

The whole idea of our research is to promote better security around sheds and provide advice on this, so any statistics and information around shed/outbuilding break-ins would be hugely appreciated.
