An event was staged on Public Highway in Cross St, Abergavenny on 26th December 2022.

The Police attended this event to facility the safety of the event. Please provide the following information.

1/ How many Police Officers were in attendance and what was the cost of Policing the event.

2/ Why did Gwent Police attend this event

3/ Who informed Gwent Police of the intended event on 26th December 2022

4/ Did Gwent Police meet any ESAG or similar, and did they agree the event was safe at this location on Public Highway, Cross St, Abergavenny

5/ Please provide dates of meetings which Gwent Police attended in relation to this event

6/ The Blue Road barriers were closed and locked on Cross St. This prevented legal access to Cross St and was in conflict with the legal TTRO applied to this road for legitimate access. Could you confirm the Police were aware or facilitated this closure to prevent legal access and if so on what grounds was an emergency closure facilitated.
